London 2012 Olympian
In 2012 Helle fulfilled her lifelong dream to become an Olympian. Helle represented Denmark at the London 2012 Olympics, qualifying as one of only two Danish representatives in triathlon, and 1 of only 55 females worldwide.
Helle, a 6 x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion, is currently holding the world’s fastest time for the 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km half-distance triathlon format: 3:55:50. During her victory at the $100,00 Challenge Bahrain event in 2014, Helle raced her way to the top of the podium in a record setting time, making her the fastest female in history over the half-distance triathlon format.
Academically Helle boasts a Master Degree in Human Nutrition, received from the University of Copenhagen back in 2008. To date Helle uses her high education and knowledge to benefit non-endemic partners of her career. Helle acts as a consultant and advisor in Sport, Health and Nutrition.
