Trek’s marquee triathlon program adds Helle Frederiksen

World Champion

In 2018 Helle became the ITU long Distance World Champion. Taking the crown infront of a home crowd in Odense, Denmark. The World Champion title is the first major title of Helle’s professional racing career.

A World Best

Helle, a 9 x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion, is currently holding the world’s fastest time for the 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km half-distance triathlon format: 3:55:50. In 2017 Helle also became the fastest Danish woman over the full-distance IRONMAN. Clocking a 8:55:35 finish time on her way to 2nd place overall during her IRONMAN debut in Arizona.

London 2012 Olympian

In 2012 Helle fulfilled her lifelong dream to become an Olympian. Helle represented Denmark at the London 2012 Olympics, qualifying as one of only two Danish representatives in triathlon, and 1 of only 55 females worldwide.

Human Nutritionist

Academically Helle boasts a Master Degree in Human Nutrition, received from the University of Copenhagen back in 2008. To date Helle uses her high education and knowledge to benefit non-endemic partners of her career. Helle acts as a consultant and advisor in Sport, Health and Nutrition.
